Biosketch
Christian Sarason is an experienced technologist with a specialty in converting academic prototypes into commercial products. In his current role at APL, Sarason is a member of a research team that uses Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) equipped with novel sensors to integrate field data and numerical modeling simulations into an operational real time situational awareness system. Sarason is a subject matter expert (SME) in data visualization, marine technology, environmental sensing, autonomous underwater vehicles, geospatial technology, and scientific computing.
